Salesforce continues to permeate the enterprise, and tablets are an increasingly integral part of sales. Wishing to uncover the relationship between the two, Seismic implemented a survey of Dreamforce attendees: field salespeople, managers and executives from around the world. The Seismic survey found new insights into how, why and when sales workers use Salesforce on their tablets—and what they expect for the future.
Key findings include:
• More than 70% of Salesforce users spend 1-5 hrs per day on their tablet
• Tablets have become the primary computer for almost 1 in 4 people
• Only 1 in 3 respondents use their tablet for CRM
• 70% of respondents believe that mobile technology, such as business apps, will dramatically improve their lives in 2014
